2025 Season
In 2025 we staged two productions, Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and Jez Butterworth's Jerusalem.
Jerusalem
Jerusalem (2009) is a play by Jez Butterworth; it opened in the Jerwood Theatre of the Royal Court Theatre in London. An electrifying exploration of British identity and rural life, the play is set at Johnny 'Rooster' Byron's encampment and drug den. Set during the village's Saint George's Day fair and under Rooster's looming eviction by the local council, it follows his crew of misfits and hangers-on through their mischief, scheming and partying.

Twelfth Night
Our production of Shakespeare's beloved Twelfth Night was wet, wild and wonderful. With fantastic costumes made by our talented team, the play moved through the beautiful gardens of Mothecombe, enchanting audiences.

2024 Season
Performed in September 2024 at Mothecombe House and Garden, Wild Will staged A Midsummer Night's Dream and Macbeth over two weeks, to an audience of over 1,000.
Macbeth
Shakespeare's Macbeth is set in medieval Scotland. As the thanes return from a battle, the three weird witches prophesy that Macbeth will become King of Scotland. Seduced by power, Lady Macbeth pushes Macbeth into taking action to gain the throne by killing the king and all others who stand in his way, including his best friend Banquo. The English invade, a final battle ensues and the new King is crowned.

A Midsummer Night's Dream
One of Shakespeare's best-loved comedies plays with 3 parts:
The Immortals - Led by Oberon, his side-kick Puck and Oberon's lover Titania
The Court and the Lovers - Theseus, Hermia, Helena, Lysander and Demetrius
The Mechanicals - Led by Peter Quince, the tradesmen of Athens, inlcuding Bottom, who put on a play for the Prince.
The star crossed lovers are tricked into loving the wrong people by Oberon's magic. The mechanicals prepare a play Peter Quince has written to perform at Duke Theseus' wedding. Bottom is transformed into an ass and Titania is tricked into falling in love with him.

2023 Season
September 2023. Our first year, with an ambitious vision, to stage an ambulatory play in the gardens of Mothecombe House, in South Devon. There were 4 perfomances, using 4 stages plus a cast and crew who had varying skills and experience. The theatre giant Jeremy Irons got our project off to a flying start by giving us his Bottom.
