Without question the best amateur theatre group that I have ever seen perform.
The creative elements such as direction, lighting, set design etc all married together wonderfully and showed great understanding and respect for the story.

"Jerusalem," a modern play by Jez Butterworth, portrays life in a rural Wiltshire village. The story revolves around Johnny 'Rooster' Byron and his chaotic encampment, where he and his misfit friends live a world of hedonism and camaraderie, despite the threat of eviction. Set during the village fair, the play explors themes of community, rebellion, and the fight for belonging. Staged immersively in a woodland setting, this production captured the raw energy and grit of the characters, making it a compelling part of Wild Will's 2025 season.
This was an amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.
