Jeremey Irons' magical Bottom

Jeremy Irons previously performed with Wild Will Theatre, taking on the role of Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In a rare and generous gesture, the internationally celebrated actor stepped into the woods of Devon to perform alongside local amateur actors, creating a production that audiences described as truly magical and unforgettable.

His patronage recognises something audiences in Devon already know, Wild Will Theatre may be proudly amateur, but the standard of performance is anything but ordinary.

Wild Will Company is truly astonishing

“The Wild Will Company is truly astonishing. Theatre in the community, by the community, and for the community. Rob Heyland has galvanised local people, friends, volunteers — and sometimes the odd professional — into producing plays set in idyllic locations which are a constant delight to audiences of all ages.”
