Romeo and Juliet and The Crucible

Now, the company returns with two of the most powerful and enduring plays in the repertoire. Romeo and Juliet runs from 26 to 29 August 2026, bringing Shakespeare’s timeless story of love, youth and conflict to life in the open air, where the natural beauty of the Devon landscape heightens both its intimacy and intensity.

The Crucible follows from 2 to 5 September 2026, offering a stark and gripping exploration of fear, suspicion and community under pressure. Arthur Miller’s classic examines how religious superstition can be used as a weapon of control, a theme that remains deeply resonant today, made all the more powerful when staged in Wild Will’s immersive woodland environment.

At the heart of both productions is Wild Will Theatre’s commitment to bold storytelling, atmospheric performance, and unforgettable live theatre experiences.

Tickets are expected to sell fast following the runaway success of Jerusalem, and audiences are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.
